Len is due to have a skin cancer removed from his face this Thursday ( 28 June ) , please pray that this operation is a complete success.

On Monday I am due to fly to Sri Lanka for a two week visit.I am hoping to meet many senior politicians . Please pray that the Lord will open these doors , as He has done in the past.

God bless

Inverclyde SPUC branch AGM and an old friend

Tonight I spoke to an annual general meeting of the SPUC branch in Inverclyde , about 40 miles north of where I live. This had been arranged many months ago. Some 25 people came along to hear about my work at the UN.

There I met Mrs Irene Munro , see opposite. I had spoken in her husband's church in the Scottish Highlands about 15 years ago. I happened to borrow the small shoe from this 6 month old baby , Lewis. This was as an aid in a children's talk. The parents of the father of this child wanted this baby aborted. They believed their son's education and entire life would be ruined by this baby. Well I have now found out that this little boy is doing well. His paternts married and they are very happy with 3 children. So this little boy did not ruin anyone's life , but has been a blessing.

Visit to Brighton and Bexhill

Here I am after the meeting I spoke at last night. Judy and Bryan were my hosts. There were 22 came to the meeting and quite a few signed up for my prayer letter.
I spoke about my work at the UN.

On Sunday afternoon I was taken to Bexhill. This is the scene of a crime that took place in 1844. My great great grandfather stole two shirts from Bexhill. I found a local phone book and have the names of two people , the sames as those who lost their shirts in 1844. When I get back to Scotland I am going to sent these people £10 each , as restitution. Then we will be all squared up for the crimes of my ancestors.

Prayer for Israel meeting , Westminster

Yesterday , Friday 9 June, I had a literature table at the Prayer for Israel meeting held in Westminster Chapel, London.

As I did at the recent Christian Resources Exhibition , I asked people to sign our petition to support the two Glasgow senior midwives who had been suspended for not supervising the junior midwives who assist with abortions.I got 46 people to sign the petition, also gave out books and leaflets.

I am now at Saltdean near Brighton on the South coast of England. Will be here until Tuesday afternoon.
